Chalkware Mexican-themed Bookends

These 1930 era Mexican-themed Chalkware bookends are on their way to the annual extravaganza of the  Heritage of the Americas Museumin Rancho San Diego, CA,  to raise moneys to support their many educational programs.  If you love old-style museums where the artifact cases are crammed with all sorts of interesting items, where you can linger over the cases and draw your fill of marvelous objects, then head over to this small-but-mighty example of a museum-lover’s museum.

From August 21 to October 3, the Heritage of the Americas Museum is staging their “FIVE SALES! ONE LOCATION!” Museum Members’ Rummage Sale, Art Sale, Jewelry Sale, Gems and Minerals Sale, and Fossils Sale.
